Trophaeum • 2026
Sculpture, forged steel, oak, MDF, walnut oil, ink, acrylic. 180 x 60 x 15 cm

Trophaeum (2026) is a series of wall-mounted sculptures composed of forged metal hooks suspending lozenge-shaped oak frames, painted and printed with digitally constructed imagery.

Installed across a wall as a field of emblems, the works draw on the language of funerary heraldry and memorial insignia. Repositioned outside their original systems of meaning, these forms appear as symbolic fragments from a past that feels familiar and eerie. These fictional souvenirs are held in suspension, between archive and altar, honour and abandonment.
