Tis the ending of all moist things continues Porré’s exploration of dreamscapes—terrains shaped by fragmented memory and its recurring symbols.

In the continuation of this work, (produced specifically for if/then at Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art) wallpapers act as thresholds: portals through which her digital worlds fold into physical space. Printed with CGI imagery and cut into ornate shapes, they rupture the architectural surface—cascading over mouldings, spilling from wall to floor, or bleeding across rooms. These in-situ interventions collapse the boundary between rendered landscape and built environment, turning the wallpaper into a soft interface between realms—part fragment, part passage.
Drawing on the tradition of panoramic wallpapers as immersive, narrative environments, Porré merges this historical form with digital 3D worldbuilding. Her wallpapers reimagine the wall not as background, but as a liminal surface—where symbol and ornament map mnemonic pathways across time. Evoking the art of memory, these digital frescoes operate like memory palaces: spatial frameworks anchoring fragmentary histories and speculative worlds within the architecture of the present.
